Cosine, food, wine...
The cousine at Gostilna Pri planinskem orlu is mainly
based on home cooking, with an accent on Slovenian and
venison specialties which are prepared: "On the
old fire!", like chef Janez likes to say. It
means that most of meals, like in our grandmothers' times,
are prepared on a wood fired stove.
This is the place to come to for the experience of the
best of Slovenian cooking and the pleasurable enjoyment of
good food and exquisite Slovenian wines.
In our three dining rooms we can accommodate up to
hundred and twenty people and up to eighty people in the
garden during summer season.
Daily we prepare several different hot snack and lunch
menus, but we can also tailor a menu for your taste.
Our restaurant may also be booked for private parties,
business lunches, dinners, weddings, anniversaries and
other special occasions, either for lunch or dinner.
For parties of ten or more, we generally work with the
host to develop a fixed-price menu with several entree
selections.
